If this is fake, then this dude definitely went the extra mile to try and be convincing. I don't know a lot of people that are able to ram their back into a corner of a shelf, without even the slightest hesitation.
Id say it's not fake. But, I'd also say it isn't his drinking that has him in this state. Its his vision that is fucked up. He is reaching for things that are 6 feet away. If I had to guess I would say its a hallucinogen of some sort.
PcP would fit the profile here. Along with the multiplier effect of all the other drugs and alcohol.
