Even on the beta Vashj'ir was pretty populated. I assume all the people who didn't get to see it yet will be going there first. Something new and fresh for them. Also if the difference of hitting 85 is a day I think I will live. Also there is at least two of us who have seen all the dungeons and boss fights if anyone wants me in their group Happy

See, originally I was thinking the same thing. But now that I'm seeing that everybody wants to do Hyjal first, I may do Vashj'ir first.

My plan is also the same as Galv. I like the underwater zone but it's skippable seeing how a flying mount is much more useful than a seahorse. Even if it's fast.

Someone from Beta may be able to better verify this, and it may be old news. However, it impacts what I had planned to do for leveling so I wanted to pass it along to anyone looking to get to 85 ASAP.

Quests from Deepholme+Maelstrom supposedly offer significantly more XP than do quests from Mt. Hyjal and Vashj'ir. I had planned to level in Hyjal first and then head over to Vashj'ir so i could enjoy that zone at an appropriate level.

However, from what I have read, it is significantly faster to level if you go to the appropriate zone for your current level as quest XP is much higher. This really wasn't the case for WotLK or Burning Crusade as you were able to level fairly quickly in zones that were below your level...

Just some food for thought for anyone interested in leveling quickly...
